How to treat natural colored hair

Is your Natural Hair Damaged?

Hair needs moisture! I repeat. Natural hair needs moisturizing . Not only with colors but your hair period love water. Water is the mother to all moisturizers.Without proper care it can leads to extremely dry hair, hair breakage, and dry scalp that may causes the hair to looks very dull. water is the number one hair moisturizer your natural hair needs. You need a water based hair moisturizer also to properly moisturize your hair. Look at the back of the bottle if water is not one of the main ingredients then that shouldent be the best moisturizer for your lovely hair!
Moisturize hair at least EVERYDAY with a water based moisturizer then seal ,because natural hair tends to get dry very easily.

Go for it! The darker colors rather than light hair colors

Black hair is already lacking in the moisture department, so you’ll want to make sure you are . Moisture even more consistent with keeping it moisturized when you decide to color treat your hair. Make sure you avoid sulfate shampoos to avoid stripped hair after washes. Using a sulfate free shampoo also helps your color last longer. Deep condition your hair frequently. Tip number one dont be so quick to bleach your on hair, I know thoes little box hair color kits looks cheep and easy but you would need a professional to put that in. Not only does this help protect your hair from damage but they can get the hair color to complement your skin tone better by mixing the colors to find the right blend for you.

Stop with the wash-out Conitioners.

Do not use wash out conitiones as a leave in. I stress this all the time.. This will cause a lot of breakage. I feel as if they are made wit ingredients that are ment to be made to wash out. Now leave inn conitioners are great!

Which naturl hair type are you?

 Type 4 – Kinky Hair

www.youtubenaptyral85 naturl hair bloger that I love please follow her channel

  1. Type 4 is kinky, or very tightly curled with a clearly visible curl pattern. Tightly coiled and very, very fragile Type 4 hair can range from fine/thin to wiry/coarse with lots and lots of strands densely packed together.
2. 4b: Has a “Z” pattern, less of a defined curl pattern. Instead of curling or coiling, the hair bends in sharp angles like the letter “Z”; has a cotton-like feel.

 4b hair Type

3. Tightly coiled hair that, when stretched, has an “S” pattern, much like curly hair. It tends to have more moisture than 4b; has a definite curl pattern.

Tips for 4 typed hair.

Use styling creams, butters and oils for type 4 hair
• This hair type needs extra moisture and tender-loving care because it can be fragile
Detangle hair with a lot of conditioner in your hair and use a comb or detangle brush.
also u

se a hooded dryer or air dry.

Type 3c – Curly Kinky Hair

www.youtubeMaeNatural

The very tight curls are usually fine in texture. Heres some pitures of 3c 4a hair.
Tips
• Use styling creams, butters and oils for type 3c hair
• This hair type needs extra moisture and tender-loving care because it can be fragile

Transition styles Before Going Natural

The natural movement is officially the thing. Everyone is talking about going natural,  or is in the process.  Me personally dont look at becoming naturl as a trend because its something thats naturally grown from you! Now what just could be a trend is transitioning and then stopping. But that's another topic for another day guys. Lets get to some transitioning styles for thoes who are trying to become natural, also you can use them for protective styles.

Cornrows

Cornrows are my personal favorite. They’re vacation and pool side friendly. They’re bedtime friendly also. This hair style will last you through the better part of your transition and you’ll be left with a few months of new growth.

2. Two straind twist.
Two straind twist is my most favorite natural hair styles, I did them when i was transitioning also wile im Natural . By doing two strind twist I recommend this for individuals with long thinck course hair. Its an awesome to go style but also time consuming.

3. Bantu knots
Bantu knots are a cute, flirty style traditionally sported by African American women, but these knots work well with just about all hair types. It gives you that curly look u maybe looking for they are small colied buns.

6 (six) Oils you must try!

Maintaining healthy natural hair does not require you to buy alot of fancy high priced products! Some of the best hair care proucts can come from your locial grocey stores. "Whole Foods"  Also Target, walmart, and anyother local store of your choice. I have used each one of these oils and they work wonderful on my hair.

1.Avocado Oil

Avocado oil is great with natural hair, It's loaded with nutrients, amino acid, as well as Vitamins A,B,D,and E and excellent for moisturizing deep conditioning to improving hair strength to boost shine its even better with olive oil.

2. Castor Oil

Castor Oil thickens hair, promotes hair growth, prevents thinning, moisturizes, helps reduce split ends, helps to tame frizz, and prevents scalp infections. This can help keep any fungus or bacteria from inhibiting hair growth.  Since the oil is also very thick, it may help to prevent hair loss simply by helping to coat the hair, an mataine growth.

3.Coconut Oil

Coconut Oil is great for preventing dandruff, promoting hair growth, moisturizing, strengthening hair, thickening hair, and preventing damage.

4.olive oil

Olive oil is the godmother of hair oil,” is great for moisturizing, deep conditioning, improving hair strength, eliminating dandruff, and also has powerful antioxidants that can help fight hair loss.  Olive oil contains vitamin E which, when applied to the scalp, can stimulate hair follicles leading to growth.

5.Tea tree oil

Tea tree is a wonderful fungus fighter with vitamins E. You can use it for your skin and scalp. Some Tea tree may have Aloe vera inside.

6. Raw shea butter

It protects hair from environmental stress, eliminates dry brittle hair, also gives moisture. Shea butter has been used for generations for healing and other remedies.
